    Join Baltimore’s leading media company, Baltimore Sun Media! Baltimore Sun Media is looking for a detailed, creative and energetic Senior Marketing Strategist to join our advertising team. This team member will creatively support the marketing of Baltimore Sun’s products by developing brand materials and marketing solutions that leverage the powerful Baltimore Sun Media brand through print, digital, experiential, branded content, social, influencer, and video assets. We are seeking a creative thinker with remarkable organizational and communication skills; someone who likes to have fun, work alongside great people, and is ready to dive deep into one of the most iconic brands in media. 

    Responsibilities

    You will:

    • Support the Advertising Vice President and Head of Marketing & Events in developing compelling brand-specific marketing materials and marketing campaigns to promote Baltimore Sun’s existing products and programs
    • Create and present concepts for new programs that would beneficial for advertising clients
    • Maintain marketing materials for all campaigns, updating collateral frequently
    • Develop relationships with relevant brand partners and manage deliverables associated with those partnerships
    • Maintain project timelines and trackers to ensure they remain current
    • Assist the events team as needed
    • Assist with special projects as needed
    • All other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • 3-4 years of experience (Agency or Digital/Print Media experience required)
    • Solid understanding of media, digital and print advertising industries
    • Expert with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint
    • Competent with Adobe Suite, including Acrobat, InDesign, and Photoshop
