Overview

Media Sales Manager, Work from home, must reside in local area. 

 

As  Media Sales Manager, you will lead a team of media sales representatives while ensuring goals are established and achieved. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to grow their career in management and provide world class solutions to our customer base. Under limited supervision, you will be responsible for maximizing sales team potential, generate sales targets, implement strategic business plans, and identify emerging markets for new products in a large geographical area or vertical market. You will develop and executes sales plans that drive revenue for assigned products.

  • Manages the sales administration function, operational performance reporting, streamlining processes and systems wherever possible and advising senior management on maximizing business relationships and creating an environment where customer service can flourish
  • Lead, coach and mentor sales team by spending at least 60% of time connecting with customers and prospects while ensuring timely feedback is given to direct reports
  • Builds relationships with prospective customers. Leads processes required to build, manage and execute a sales pipeline, including the ability to articulate both brand value and product knowledge
  • Communicates status of sales programs, results and accomplishments to the Director or other internal partners
  • Ensures correct usage of CRM and other sales applications
  • Develops/maintains knowledge of market trends, competition, and customers. Stays up to date on industry best practices, standards and benchmarks through industry publications, newsletters, attending seminars or events and via individual or group training
  • Develop short and long-term strategic sales plans that increase revenue above goal, meet the customer’s objectives and serve the customer at the highest level possible
  • Engages team in weekly meetings to review performance, educate on new products and positioning of existing products, communicate company and team initiatives and ensure that level of energy on the team is consistent
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned

Bachelor’s degree in Business with at least two years’ sales experience and/or equivalent experience managing a sales team

 

Must possess strong negotiation, relationship-building and influencing skills. Requires excellent analytical, written, oral, and effective presentation skills.

  • Goal-oriented with ability to maintain a deep and broad understanding of market
  • Digital sales acumen preferred.
  • Self-starter that possess high
  • Ability to collaborate with company and department leaders is
  • Ability to multi-task with strong time and project management
  • Experience utilizing CRM to manage direct reports
  • Ability to become proficient in new technologies to efficiently manage business
