Overview

The Campaign Specialist is responsible for fulfilling all digital campaigns by collaborating with Regional account teams, internal sales support teams, creative teams, and vendors. This person is the main point of contact for processing all components of digital advertising orders across Tribune’s product portfolio.

Responsibilities

Major Responsibilities:

  • Process a variety of digital campaigns in appropriate platforms which also may require, processing creatives, pulling reports, capturing screenshots, and optimizing against advertiser KPIs.
  • Must be able to prioritize multiple assignments with a high degree of accuracy, and function quickly in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Ability to use Media Math in relation to the industry (Gross vs. Net/CPM/E-CPM).
  • Escalate critical issues to Regional Manager/Director as needed.
  • Assist with billing issues and support collection efforts.
  • Must be able to handle all aspects of customer service including anticipating needs, building relationships, and exceeding the Advertiser’s expectations.
  • Use problem solving skills to resolve escalated situations with customers and provide top quality solutions.
  • Ability to troubleshoot ad serving problems and effectively communicate solutions.
  • Stay abreast of Tribune Digital products, industry issues, digital marketing trends and ad serving solutions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • BS/BA in Business, Marketing, Economics, or Mathematics discipline preferred or 3 years comparable industry experience
  • Strong knowledge of web-based, mobile, and video display advertising units
  • Experience in optimizing towards CTR, CPC, CPA, or ROI goals
  • Understanding of GAM, Google Advertising Suite, Social Networks
  • Knowledge of IAB SEM, SEO digital marketing tools and standards a plus
  • Excellent client relationship & interpersonal skills with strong customer focus that conveys responsiveness and competence
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Must be detail-oriented and can thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment, and be able to interact effectively with other team members, management, and customers
  • Must possess excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to provide innovative solutions and recommend process improvements
  • Must understand business objectives and advertisers’ goals to maximize revenue and advertiser performance
