Print Production Editorial Assistant
Remote - Work from home opportunity
Duties for Print Production Editorial Assistant may vary within the team, but all involve preparing content or preparing content schedules for use by the Design and Production Studio. The editorial assistants may copy and paste content from one CMS to another. Or track content as it makes its way from Tribune newsrooms to the DPS and into Tribune print products. Some editorial assistant work may revolve around compiling listings, sports agate or graphics. Some work may include preparing graphics, articles, photos and designs for publication in Tribune print newspapers; proofing and typesetting newspaper pages for all Tribune newspapers; and editing and designing content to be shared across all Tribune newspapers.

The Orlando Sentinel is looking for an experienced sports editor to help lead our award-winning department. This person will report to the content director and be the day-to-day manager of the sports department. Our primary beats include coverage of the Orlando Magic of the NBA, Orlando City of Major League Soccer, the Orlando Pride of the National Women’s Soccer League, the University of Florida, the University of Central Florida and local high schools. In addition, we cover major sports events in our area including two NASCAR races, three college football bowl games, a PGA tournament and much more. Our focus is on enterprise reporting and going beyond the advance/game story cycle.
Candidate must reside in the Orlando area, or be willing to relocate.
